Antibacterial (triclosan-coated) sutures
Antibacterial sutures carry a triclosan coating on an established suture material such as Polyglactin 910, Polydioxanone or Poliglecaprone 25. They are offered across braided and monofilament, absorbable constructions, giving surgeons an antibacterial-coated option within a familiar suture material.
Barbed knotless sutures
Barbed sutures have tiny barbs cut along a monofilament, allowing the suture to anchor in tissue without surgical knots. Dolphin offers barbed sutures in absorbable Polydioxanone and in non-absorbable Polypropylene, including a barbed suture that also carries a triclosan antibacterial coating.
