What TILOC Titanium Ligation Clips Are

TILOC Titanium Ligation Clips are medical-grade titanium clips engineered for controlled ligation of vessels and tissue across a wide range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, urology, gynaecology and orthopaedics. The clips are non-absorbable and remain in place after the procedure, providing durable mechanical occlusion of appropriately sized vessels and tubular structures where surgical clip ligation is appropriate.

Design and Material

Each clip is made from medical-grade titanium — a strong, durable, inert and biocompatible material associated with minimal tissue reactivity. A locking design with inner ridges and grooves is intended to grip the structure and resist slippage once applied, while rounded edges are designed to minimise tissue trauma. The titanium is radiopaque, so clips are clearly visible under X-ray and fluoroscopy for intraoperative placement and postoperative assessment, and it is non-ferromagnetic and corrosion-resistant, supporting compatibility with MRI imaging environments.

Sizes and Colour Coding

TILOC clips are supplied in four colour-coded sizes to accommodate varying vessel diameters and allow quick identification during a procedure.

Appliers

TILOC is available with a range of customised applicator devices suitable for both open and laparoscopic procedures, designed to match the various clip sizes. The clips are also designed to fit most leading applier brands.

Clinical Applications

TILOC clips are intended for vessel ligation and hemostatic support and for tissue approximation while preserving adjacent structures.
